Novolipetsk Steel Profile
Novolipetsk Steel is engaged in the production and sales of flat and long steel products. It operates through the following segments: Mining, Russian Flat Products, Russian Long Products, NLMK USA, NLMK DanSteel and Plates Distribution Network, and Investments in NBH. The Mining segment comprises of mining, processing and sales of iron ore, fluxing limestone and metallurgical dolomite, and supplies raw materials to the steel segment and third parties. The Russian Flat Products segment includes the production and sales of steel products and coke, primarily pig iron, steel slabs, hot rolled steel, cold rolled steel, galvanized cold rolled sheet, and cold rolled sheet with polymeric coatings and also electro-technical steel. The Russian Long Products segment comprises of number of steel-production facilities combined in a single production system beginning from scrap iron collection and recycling to steel-making, production of long products, reinforcing rebar, and metalware. The NLMK USA segment engages in the production and sales of steel products in the United States. The NLMK DanSteel and Plates Distribution Network segment is engaged in the production and sales of plates in Europe and other regions of the world. The Investments in NBH segment is focused on production of hot rolled, cold rolled coils and galvanized and pre-pained steel, and also production of plates as well as a number of steel service centers located in the European Union.
